Pablo Martinez, a carpenter for 35 years at Vapor Corp. in Niles,
died of cancer Sunday at home in Chicago's Little Village
neighborhood. He was 67.
"My father enjoyed gardening and loved flowers," said his son,
Pablo Jr. "He was an eager handyman and he was always ready to fix
something."
Mr. Martinez was born in Venada, Mexico, where he went to grade
school. He came to the United States in 1960.
He attended St. Agnes Church and served as an usher there.
