Town reclaims its wildest talent Patsy Cline's hometown belatedly recognizes value of its `Crazy' star

WINCHESTER, Va. Patsy Cline was always proud of her hometown, but Winchester was not always proud of her.

Cline, famous for such hits as ``Crazy,'' ``Walkin' After Midnight'' and ``I Fall to Pieces,'' died in a 1963 plane crash. She was 30 years old and at the height of her popularity.

She moved 19 times by age 16, giving numerous towns in the region their own claim to her legacy. But she was born in Winchester, spent more time there than anywhere else and claimed it as her hometown at the beginning of every concert.
