Article: White wine can be made as healthy as red wine

Researchers in Israel have found a way to boost the antioxidant content of white wines so that they have about the same health benefits of red wines.

"This is good news for white wine lovers," said Michael Aviram, a professor at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa and head of the team that developed the process. It is described in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, published by the American Chemical Society.
