Concern: The rear "seats" are worthless, unless you accept them as
leather-covered art pieces.
Praise: The SC430 rivals the Jaguar XK8 convertible in exterior
and interior beauty. It is, quite simply, a breathtaking automobile.
Head-tuning quotient: Zinnggg! Out of the park. You will be hard
pressed to find a better-looking automobile.
Ride acceleration and handling: People looking for a Porsche-type
ride should look elsewhere. Porsche rides hard, which is good for
cruising well-maintained autobahns, but lousy for driving decrepit
streets. The SC430 is more luxboat than sports coupe. It has a softer
ride.
Engine: The car comes with a 4.3-liter, four-cam, 32-valve V-8
