"I think I have the longest association with 'Law & Order' of
anyone other than Dick Wolf," says the Voice. He's the one whose
deep, firm and somehow authoritative voice heralds each show. Eleven
years ago, he intoned for posterity the following immortal lines:
In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two
separate yet equally important groups: the police who investigate
crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. These
are their stories.
Then comes the familiar chord of music: chung chung.
