Article: Boeing to pick a local ad agency Winner expected to be selected in October

Boeing's decision to move its corporate headquarters to Chicago in September is going to prove a windfall for one lucky local advertising agency.

Chicago's newest corporate darling is commencing a review of its advertising account, said to be worth about $50 million in billings. The review is expected to conclude in mid-October with the naming of a full-service local shop as Boeing's new agency of record, according to Bob Wolf, a Los Angeles-based advertising consultant with Bob Wolf Partners/TPG who is helping orchestrate the account review.

Separately, Boeing said it would look for a new design firm to prepare its 2001 annual report, with a decision expected by early September.
