All apparently is not well in Hockeytown, which might be a break
for the Blackhawks.
Though the Detroit Red Wings lead the league in victories, the
verbal shots outnumbered the shots on goal during the team's recent 0-
3-1 slump. The Red Wings scored three goals during that span.
The Red Wings, who host the Hawks on Monday, did break the four-
game winless streak--their longest string of futility in two years--
with a 2-1 victory Thursday against the Edmonton Oilers.
But before that game, coach Scotty Bowman named names when
questioned about a 2-0 loss Tuesday to the Calgary Flames.
Bowman singled out Brendan Shanahan and Sergei Fedorov for the
