Early decisions often not the best

If he had it to do all over again, Morgan Park quarterback Jerohn
Fields would not have given an early commitment to Indiana or any
other college. Instead, he would have considered several schools,
weighed his options, visited some campuses and made a decision before
the February signing date.
But hindsight is 20-20, and Fields can only hope he isn't sacked
for a loss in the recruiting game. Fortunately, he has time to
recover.
Fields was victimized when Indiana coach Cam Cameron was fired.
Last June, he was invited to the Hoosiers' summer camp. When Cameron
offered a scholarship, he accepted. He never considered anyone else.
