Residents of Burnside Station in south suburban Mokena who work in
Chicago only have to walk about a block and a half to catch the Rock
Island line for the 40-minute express train to the La Salle Street
Station.
When it is completed, Burnside Station will have a total of 160
town houses in a series of 4- and 6-unit buildings whose exteriors
are a combination of brick and siding. Each remaining 2-story has 2
or 3 bedrooms, 11/2 baths and 2-car attached garages. Overall sizes
of the six remaining town-house styles range from 1,047 square feet
to a maximum of just over 1,500 square feet. Base prices run from
$149,900 to $161,900.
