Article: Blue Jays Stay the Course on Sanders

The Toronto Blue Jays have no immediate plans to promote Deion Sanders to the major leagues, assistant general manager Dave Stewart said yesterday. Stewart said the team will not be influenced by Sanders's football contract, which would require him to report to training camp with the Washington Redskins July 29 if he is not playing in the majors.
