Dell Inc. has a new site manager for its Oklahoma City offices who is fresh from heading up the company's operations in El Salvador.

Jay Martin, 36, has been with the Round Rock, Texas-based computer maker since the mid-1990s and took the Oklahoma City job in December.

Speaking at the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium luncheon Wednesday, Martin spoke highly of Oklahoma City and Dell's role in expanding its operations here.

In 2004 the company had 12 sales employees in Oklahoma City. Since then it has built two buildings and now employs about 1,900 people locally.
