Antoine Pinay, industrialist, politician: born Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise (Rhne) 30 December 1891; Mayor of Saint-Chamond 1929-77; Prime Minister of France and Minister of Finance March-December 1952; Foreign Minister 1955-58; Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs 1958-60; married Margurite Fouletier (deceased; two daughters, and one son deceased); died Saint-Chamond 13 December 1994.
