"I don't get buried often," says a young dad just as his
turquoise trunks disappear beneath a final fistful of sand
administered by a smiling daughter. Becky, seven, is burying her
father, who has dug his own grave. The two of them, along with
Becky's brother, Lawrence, 11, are taking it in turns to be
interned up to their necks. Mum, grandma and grandad look on,
approvingly.
Becky's family have brought their caravan down to Abersoch,
north Wales, from Liverpool. They usually take their English
holiday in the Lake District but they felt like a change. "We've
just come from Ibiza," explains Becky's father. "It's not much
