Just before nine o'clock on Sunday mornings, a musician who's due to appear in one of the following week's programmes on Radio 3 is invited to give a brief preview, their Choice of Three, selected from everything on offer. Last Sunday, John Lill not only chose more than three programmes, but found time for a welcome side-swipe at the ghastly Radio Times - my adjective.
