When Gourmet editor Ruth Reichl goes home at night, she still has
to think about putting dinner on the table for her husband, Michael,
and 11-year-old son, Nick. And "I'm tired like every mom," she
admits.
Here are three of her current favorite recipes that have appeared
in Gourmet under her watch. The stir-fried shrimp and poached fish
are quick and stylish ways to address a work-night meal; the coconut
cake proves an old-fashioned indulgence.
