THE THREAT of Dewsbury starting to run away from the rest of the field at the top of the Northern Ford Premiership was averted as Keighley inflicted their first defeat of the season.

It was fitting that Keighley should be inspired by Martin Wood and Jason Ramshaw, two players who remember when they were the division's likeliest contenders. There was some of the old atmosphere back at Cougar Park last night as they played some exhilarating rugby to win a quality match.
