When Johanna started getting tired all the time I just put it down
to her being 16 and lazy. Then lumps and bruises started appearing on
her body and she couldn't get out of bed. We went to the hospital
several times and eventually I insisted on a blood test.
All the time I had leukaemia in my head - I don't know why. But it
was almost a bit of a relief to know that I had been right. I was
devastated but I knew that I wasn't being paranoid. My husband was
