These pictures could show a universe of uncharted planets. Or an undersea world. Perhaps they're from a science-fiction film populated by strange creatures. In fact, these images show something much closer to home, although science fiction does play a part. These are stills from a film called The Inner Life of a Cell, and instead of alien life forms, they show what happens inside a human white blood cell. They also represent the forefront of medical illustration.
