LONDON faces a second day of serious truck disruption on Monday,
12 April.
Thousands of lorry drivers plan to block British cities in a
nationwide protest at diesel duty rises, writes David Williams.
Last week 1,400 truck drivers gathered in Park Lane, causing
severe hold-ups on a wide network of key roads for part of the
morning. This time the organiser, Trans-Action, aims to attract
3,000 heavy goods vehicles to the capital - backed by hundreds of
black cab drivers with additional protests in up to six other cities.
