BRITAIN'S Tim Henman triumphed in straight sets on his beloved
Centre Court at Wimbledon today winning 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 against Arnaud
Clement, of France.
Eighth seed Henman, in the half of the draw that still features a
fair sprinkling of seeds, produced his best form on grass this year
in this second-round match against a French player who wears
sunglasses, no matter what the weather.
But Britain's Arvind Parmar's hopes of reaching the third round
for the first time were destroyed by big-serving Swiss Marc Rosset.
Henman broke at 4-3 in the first set with a clever volley during a
sparring session at the net, and his deft touches were too good for
his opponent throughout an entertaining ...
