RUGBY star Jonathan Davies was called a hero today for rescuing
two terrified sisters drifting out to sea in a rubber ring.
Davies, 38, first heard the girls' mother screaming for help on
the beach.
He dived into the rough surf and high waves to reach the girls who
had floated 100 yards out to sea on the strong current.
The former British Lion and Wales player was on holiday with his
three children when the drama unfolded at Tresaith Beach, West Wales.
Davies said: "I was amazed how much of a struggle it was trying to
swim against the current.
"Both girls were crying their eyes out - I kept telling them
everything would be OK but I was out ...
