THE 2001 turf Flat season ends tomorrow as it began in March with
Doncaster playing host to a tricky, bigfield handicap.
On the day that will surely see Kieren Fallon take back the
jockey's crown from Kevin Darley, the latter can gain some solace
from victory in the feature race the Tote Scoop6 November Handicap.
Darley rides Golden Wells, one of two entries from the Middleham
yard of Mark Johnston, who's on course to end this term as
winningmost trainer numerically.
But whereas stable companion Mana D'Argent is difficult to win
with, this progressive colt can register his fourth career success
and earn some winter pocket money.
