A shortfall of $28 million could result in some projects, recommended
by the Mayor's Advisory Council, "not being c ompleted," according to
a city staff report submitted Tuesday to the Oklahoma City Council.
The shortfall could result because of a "discrepancy" between the
total estimated cost of the recommended infrastructure projects and
the amounts designated in proposed bond and sales tax revenues,the
staff concluded.
In turn, the staff report said, that shortfall could produce the
"attendant perception in the general public, similar to that of
previous bond issues, that the city didn't do what it promised."
