Crude oil prices advanced in trading on commodities markets
Thursday with the price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil for
April delivery advancing by over $1 per barrel.
The prices of West Texas Intermediate for April delivery closed at
$13.16 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday, up
from $12.09 Wednesday and $11.98 Tuesday.
Other prices on the exchange included:
- West Texas Intermediate crude oil's spot price closed at
$13.20 Thursday, up from $12.10 Wednesday.
- The spot market price for North Sea Brent crude oil closed at
$15 per barrel Thursday, the same as the closing price Wednesday.
