Berry Petroleum Corp. of Oklahoma City has been sued for $5.5 million
in U.S. District Court by three investors of partnership s sponsored
by the company.
Also named in the lawsuit Friday are Berry Affiliates Inc., HKD
Securities Inc., David Berry of Edmond, Charlotte Day-Berry; Betty
Budowsky-Hill; Don P. Millican, Michael E. Cochran and David B.
Christofferson, who were officers of Berry Petroleum.
The plaintiffs are Robert I. Hays, Tom E. Hays and Bob C. Murrell
of Norman.
Berry Petroleum is currently involved in Chapter 11 proceedings in
U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Oklahoma City.
