Berry Petroleum Corp.'s Chapter 11 modified reorganization plan was
confirmed Tuesday by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Berry ov er the
objections of Reynolds Drilling Co. of Shreveport, La., the receiver
of the Berry 1981-III partnership.
Creditors will have an opportunity to vote on modifications of the
plan. If no votes are changed from acceptance to rejection, Judge
Berry's decision will stand. If there are a significant number of
votes changed, a objections of those creditors will be heard in court
on Sept. 29.
Of the total 27 classes, four impaired classes elected to reject
the plan. Only five classes consisting of lien claimants were not
impaired under the plan, in addition to the class ...
