Article: DALLAS TIMES HERALD SUES MORNING NEWS

DALLAS (AP) - A suit challenging the accuracy of the circulation figures of The Dallas Morning News has been filed by The Dallas Times Herald.

The suit, filed in Chicago federal court, accuses the Morning News of fraudulently inflating circulation figures, antitrust and other violations. The suit also names the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

It seeks unspecified damages from losses related to advertising and to block the release of any Morning News circulation figures unless they are verified by independent audit or the court is satisifed with the accuracy of bureau procedures.
