Garrett A. Garrettson has accepted the position of vice president, research and technology, at Control Data Corporation's Data Storage Products Group.

Garrettson, formerly with Hewlett Packard Laboratories since 1973 as a research engineer, department manager and laboratory director, holds an M.S. in Engineering Physics and a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. . .
