Article: ALTUS AIRLINES PLANS FLIGHTS FROM OKLAHOMA CITY TO TULSA / PROMPTED BY WICHITA SUCCESS

The success of new Altus Airlines service between Oklahoma City and Wichita has prompted that carrier to add another daily flight to its agenda, this one to Tulsa, according to John Gover, chairman.

The Tulsa flight - like the rest of Altus' service - is designed to "fill the gaps" left by larger carriers. It will be offered beginning Jan. 5, Gover said.

The flight will be the "early bird" out of Oklahoma City, leaving at 7:30 a.m., nearly two hours before the next morning flight out of Will Rogers World Airport, a 9:25 a.m. United Airlines junket.

The return flight will be Tulsa's last morning departure for Oklahoma City. Flights by other airlines leave Tulsa at 7:30 a.m., 7:45 a.m. ...
