Article: DEL CITY FOOD 4 LESS STORE TO OPEN IN EARLY SUMMER

Another warehouse-type, no-frills supermarket is to open in early summer.

Keith Beachler, vice president of Beachler's IGA Supermarkets, said the Food 4 Less store will be at the intersection of SE 15th St. and Vickie Dr., just east of Int. Hwy. 40 and Tinker Diagonal in Del City.

The new store will be in the building which formerly housed a Humpty Supermarket and a TG&Y store.

Beachler said it would occupy 51,000 square feet of the building. The other 9,000 square feet of space will probably be used by other retail stores.

"We are shooting for a June 1 opening," Beachler said.
