A 10 dayextension to register its boats
in Oklahoma and pay excise tax was granted Monday to Three Buoys
Houseboat Vacations USA Ltd., a Calgary, Can.-based firm operating
on Lake Eufaula
The company, meanwhile, has filed a motion for a new trial in
McIntosh County.
On Sept. 4, McIntosh County Judge Joe LeMasters filed an order
stating the firm would have 10 days to register all its boats in
Oklahoma and pay excise taxes, registration and license fees or have
an injuction placed against them.
In May, the Oklahoma Tax Commission filed an injuction against
Three Buoys, claiming the firm had not registered its approximately
69 boats in Oklahoma and owed an estimated $139,000 in ...
