Article: OKLAHOMA COUNTY BANKS SHOW COMBINED $9.7 MILLION NET LOSS / FOR FIRST SIX MONTHS

The 63 Oklahoma County banks combined for a net loss of $9.7 million for the first six months of 1987, according to a report by Sheshunoff & Co. of Austin, Texas.

That included a net loss of $13.49 million in the second quarter, after the Oklahoma County banks reported a first quarter net income of $3.7 million, the highest net income for any of the 77 counties in the state, according to the report.

County banks went from having the best results in the state for the quarter to the third worst for the first six months, according to the report, which includes results before extraordinary items for net income.
