Article: SOUTHWEST AIRLINES REVENUE PASSENGER MILES RISE 13.2%

DALLAS - A 13.2 percent increase in revenue passenger miles was reported Monday for January flights by Southwest Airlines Co., which services Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City.

TheDallas-based commuter airline flew 472.8 million revenue passenger miles in January 1988, compared to 417.8 million in January 1987. Available seat miles increased 18.7 percent to 999.1 million from the January 1987 level of 841.9 million.

Southwest's load factor for the month declined to 47.3 percent from 49.6 percent a year ago.
