Article: SECOND LA ROCA TO OPEN APRIL 1

La Roca, a popular 19-year-old Mexican restaurant at 412 S. Walker Ave. in Oklahoma City, is cloning itself into another nearby location at 409 W. Reno Ave. to absorb what owner Cindy Lindsey called, "the overflow of the downtown lunch business."

The new restaurant is scheduled to open April 1 in 25,075 square feet of leased space, including a 1,900-square-foot patio. Located just four blocks north of the first La Roca, the new La Roca will compliment the original restaurant and 25,000-square-foot building Lindsey and her husband Joe purchased from Lindsey's step-father, G.E. Hernandez in 1984.
