LOS ANGELES (AP) - The average retail price of gasoline rose by more than a penny in the past two weeks, bringing the price even with where it was a year ago, according to an industry survey released Sunday.

The price increase for all grades of gasoline was 1.18 cents a gallon, pushing the average price to 96.14 cents a gallon in the period ended April 8, according to the Lundberg Survey of gasoline prices from stations around the United States.
