Corey Johnsen gambled on his first horse race when he was 18-years-old.

Sixteen years later, Remington Park's assistant general manager is still gambling on horse racing, gambling that the $90 million track will meet the momentous expectations of Oklahoma business and community leaders.

Johnsen's $2 bet on the seventh horse in the seventh race at Seattle's Longacres racetrack paid off, and from the looks of the towering glass grandstand, the revolutionary Equitrack, horsemen's interest and advance ticket sales, Johnsen will win again.
