Thomas Concrete Products Co., based in Oklahoma
City for 60 years, is expanding for the second time in two years,
announced chief executive officer Tom A. Thomas III.
The firm has launched into its third city and third state by
starting operations of Transtate Precast Co., a full-service
facility in Ashland City, Tenn., one mile northwest of the Nashville
city limits.
Thomas manufactures precast architectural and structural
concrete, industrial and split concrete block, and cast stone
products.
Sales projections for the new plant were not disclosed.
However, Thomas said the Nashville plant is projected to produce half
as much as the Oklahoma City plant at 5500 S. High Ave.
