Oklahoma County District Judge David M. Cook said
Thursday he may rule today on a case in which Williams Natural Gas
Co. challenges his jurisdiction in a local bypass natural gas
lawsuit.
Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. filed suit against Williams Natural Gas
Co., Smith Cogeneration Inc. and Ladd Petroleum Corp. in connection
with natural gas service to Smith's cogeneration plant at Firestone
Inc., 2608 S. Council.
Of dispute before the court is its jurisdiction over Williams,
an interstate pipeline, as it may affect ONG, the local natural gas
distribution company.
Bill Burkett, attorney for Williams, in a hearing Thursday cited
