A group of Trust Company of Oklahoma officials has been granted authority to organize a second trust firm to take over the Trust Company's charter and operate the Oklahoma City office.

The Oklahoma Banking Board Wednesday approved a plan bisecting the Trust Company of Oklahoma into the Oklahoma City office, which would keep the old trust company charter, and the Tulsa and Muskogee offices, which would apply for a new charter to operate.
