Because the nearness of America's crossroads and the geographical
location have never been exploited to its fullest, the Del City
Chamber of Commerce is embarking upon a plan to lure
transportation-intensive companies to this area.
"Del City is in a perfect place as far as transportation is
concerned," said Keith Leftwich, the chamber's executive vice
president. "What I call America's crossroads, the intersection of
Int. Hwy. 40 and Int. Hwy. 35, is half a mile away. That's the
most important intersection for the two most important highways in
America.
