BROKEN ARROW (AP) - A Wisconsin company that has outgrown two Tulsa
facilities said Tuesday it would build an additional plant in this
Tulsa suburb and employ about 200 people on its $6 million payroll.
Badger Meter Inc. of Brown Deer, Wis., which makes flow
measurement devices, plans to start construction on the $7 million
plant early next year, company officials said.
While company officials say 200 jobs will be available
initially, those will be transfers from the other plants.
Rod Cumber, general manager at the Tulsa operations, said he
expects about 100 additional jobs to be created 18 to 24 months
after the new plant opens. He said the Broken Arrow plant could be
