Dr. C.P. Wilkinson has been appointed chairman of the Food and
Drug Administration Ophthalmic Devices Panel, which meets quarterly
in Washington D.C. to review applications from industry for products
associated with eye care.
Wilkinson is a clinical professor of ophthalmology and director
of the vitreoretinal service at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute,
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and has served on the
panel since 1986. . .
