Hollis Lloyd, a Midwest City real
estate broker, was nominated Thursday
by Gov. David Walters to a seat on the
Oklahoma Real Estate Commission.
If the appointment is confirmed by the
Oklahoma Senate, Lloyd will succeed
Bill McClure, a broker from Alva whose
term expires July 1.
The seven-member commission&
serves as the regulatory agency for
Oklahoma real estate professionals,
establishing education and licensing
requirements and administering discip-
linary programs.
State law requires that five seats on
the commission be reserved for licensed,
practicing real estate brokers, one for a
real estate education professional and
one for a layman ...
