BancOklahoma Trust Co. and the Trust Company of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, announced plans Thursday to merge their operations in a transaction valued at $5.2 million.

BancOklahoma Trust, a subsidiary of Tulsased Bank of Oklahoma NA, would be the surviving company. The merger, if approved by regulators, would boost the Oklahoma City portfolio of trust business to $875 million. A restructuring also would divide the trust company into Oklahoma City and Tulsa segments.

Trust Company management would remain after the merger and head BancOklahoma's Oklahoma City trust group from the Trust Company headquarters at 6307 Waterford Blvd.
