Article: OKC Home Price Index Proves Lowest in Nation

Oklahoma City had the lowest home price index for 251 markets in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, based on fourth quarter 1993 information provided by Coldwell Banker Corp.

Coldwell Banker offices were surveyed during the last quarter of 1993 by the corporation for the average price of a subject property. Data was derived from a sampling of recent sales and information from annual transaction reports to make up the Home Price Comparison Index.

The subject home is a single-family dwelling of approximately 2,200 square feet with four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a family room or equivalent and a two-car garage.
