Article: Education Reform Funding May Be Stretched to 6th Year

House Bill 1017, the five-year education reform plan, looked Thursday like it might be stretching into a six-year plan after the Oklahoma House of Representatives speaker indicated educators would not get the full funding they sought. Early estimates indicated the state would have $50 million or $60 million in additional money for House Bill 1017, Rep. Glen Johnson, D-Okemah, said.
