LOS ANGELES _ The best duck sausage pizza may be at Spago in West Hollywood, but if you want some, better bring your Visa card. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck does not take American Express _ not any more _ and the card company is crying foul.

American Express is appealing directly to its card holders in the latest salvo fired in a war between the two credit card companies.

Puck has stopped taking American Express at Spago and his Granita restaurant in Malibu, Calif. He now is featured in national Visa commercials that point out that Granita no longer takes American Express.
