Two of Oklahoma's nine state-operated golf courses are making
use of revenue bond money for improvements.
Nine holes have been added at Lake Murray to the existing nine
holes, and the fairways at Lake Texoma's 18-hole course are being
renovated and upgraded.
"A lot of changes have been made in the past few years and I
think golfers will notice a remarkable difference," said Richard
Romero, assistant director of State Parks for the Oklahoma
Tourism and Recreation Department.
Lake Murray invested revenue bond money to construct its
second nine hole. The second nine, set in hills and woods, opened
