Article: Kruger to Leave Post at Vehicle Commission

The Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Commission is looking for a new executive director.

Noel Kruger, who has headed the commission since January 1989, announced during Tuesday's commission meeting in Oklahoma City that he would resign effective Feb. 1.

"That will give them an opportunity to find my replacement," he said.

The commission is expected to name a search committee before the next meeting.

After leaving the commission, Kruger will formally retire, he said.

"We're just going to take it easy, travel a lot and do the things we've always wanted to do," he said.
