Article: Loan Program to Aid Small Firms

Ten Oklahoma City banks have cooperated with the Latino Community Development Agency, the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. to develop a new loan program for small businesses.

The Capitol Loan Program offers loans ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 to existing small businesses in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

The program officially begins Saturday.

Banks involved in this program include: Bank One, Southwestern Bank Trust Co., Union Bank and Trust Co., Liberty Bank Trust Co. of Oklahoma City NA, Boatmen's First National Bank of Oklahoma, Bank IV Oklahoma, The Oklahoma Bank, First Fidelity ...
